Avenues Crisis Pregnancy Clic is a Christian organization of saving lives and souls on the frontline of abortion for women. Life begins at conception. Through volunteer work I've experienced a lot through learning what abortion really is. It is murder no matter what the circumstance is. I got to volunteer at an Annual Banquet for Crisis Pregnancy Clinic and it was breathtaking. I was invited to serve others at the banquet by helping help set up for this event. At the banquet, I got to listen to two clients testimonies, who both chose life for their babies. I got to listen to two mind blowing guest speakers Liz Carl who is now 23, is a survivor of rape when she was 17, who chose chose life for her baby in this horrible action. Michael Reagan is an adoptive eldest son of President Ronald Reagan, a Christian political speaker. He had talked about him being molested at the age of 6, and having blame and damage to his birthparents and adoptive parents. michael Reagan told us about his changed life, how he'd learned to face the past, he learned to accept himself for who he was, with the help of trust and submission to God with Christ working through him. As of hearing these guest speaker's stories I was amazed at how much theyve been through and overcome t heir past. I think it is so healthy , and a good example to being able to sharing your story pubically to others, even though it is the most difficult and challenging thing to overcome your hurting. It may really trul help others to open up because they are more comfortable to speak freely of their past. It is okay to own your story. The Lord has a plan for each and every one of us, He has his reasons, and God is in control. Learn to let go, trust and submit to God. You may be an inspiration to a person who's going through the same difficulties as you. At the banquet I met a very sweet lady who told me she has been a supporter to this organization for ten years and never missed one out of all the total parties. Volunteering at the banquet on October 25, 2012, was such an amazing honor to being able to do things for others through Christ. The most powerful thing in a person is the heart. Everything comes through the heart. Let your heart own your story and share it openly to others.
