Reality in LA

Living in LA for a year has truly felt like a mission trip. Helping the Homeless has made me feel great inside. On a daily basis, whenever we are out and see a homeless person on our way to church, or wherever we are, or when ever we bump into a homeless person we hand out granola bars to them. Some aren't happy and some are grateful. It is awesome getting to pray for them. It is so amazing and very uplifting for to seeing their smiling faces when we give them granola bars. I love helping out. I pray for them all the time. We tell them that we pray for them, and they thank us or tell us to do that. Some say, God Bless. Some turn the other cheek, and say no, growl, and stare, and they are sometimes very vicious and unhappy. I almost gave a homeless person a Bible one time, I will never forget it. It has been quite a unique experience.
